Each proposal must have with it a certified check or bid bond payable to the city of Minnetonka in the amount of five [5] percent of the bid as a guarantee the bidder will enter into a contract with the city of Minnetonka in accordance with the terms of the bid, in case the bidder is awarded the contract. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities. The furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment for construction of the following work at 13209 East McGinty Road, Minnetonka, MN 55345 Burwell House and Outbuildings Exterior Repairs. 1. The Base Bid project includes the repairs, painting and glazing for the exterior wood features, window systems, gutters, decks, porches, decorative, and paint. 2. The work of the project will be spread over three years, 2022 - 2024, for budget purposes. 3. The intent is to complete as much work as possible on the house in 2022. Remaining work will be performed in subsequent years. Similar work items on multiple buildings will be performed to achieve the best value and lowest costs (see section 01 1000).
