Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Austin, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The bids will then be tabulated and presented to the City Council. BITUMINOUS STREET RECONSTRUCTION Approximate Quantities are as Follows: Mill Bituminous Pavement (1.5 - 4 ) 12,500 SY Full Depth Reclamation 7,500 SY Aggregate Base, Class 2 or 5 100 Ton Bituminous Mixtures 3,200 Ton Concrete Curb and Gutter (B624) 1,20 LF Sidewalk (4 - 8 ) 2,500 SF Adjust Frame & Casting 27 EA All proposals must be made on the forms furnished by the City Engineer. Plan holders list may be viewed at the City of Austin web site at www.ci.austin.mn.us/public-works/bids. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a surety bond from a company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota, made payable to the City of Austin, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept or reject any alternatives, waive any informalities, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held by the City Council of Austin for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to award of the contract.
