Notice to proceed on September 18, 2022.** The City of Jeffersontown is requesting sealed bids for the Watterson Trail Streetscape Phase 1. This project description is the reconstruction of existing streetscape curbs and sidewalks along both sides of Watterson Trail between the Maple/Milltown intersection to the Shelby/Old Taylorsville, excluding the town square area at the Taylorsville Road intersection, and including the construction of one pedestrian plaza adjacent to the Watterson Trail right-of-way. PRE-BID QUESTIONS: All questions should be submitted by email no later than Thursday, March 17, 2022; email to David at Qk4 (dreed@qk4.com); Responses will be provided by Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Construction Contractors and Subcontractors shall be pre-qualified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Contractors bidding the project and DBE subcontractors must be prequalified at the time of the bid opening. DBE subcontractors must also be certified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet at the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting sub contracts.
