Project Number 10116-2020130r1 Description: The Work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 14,503 GSF fire station and associated site work. The foundations and floor slab will be poured in place concrete. The exterior walls will be insulated concrete formwork with brick veneer. The roof system will be structural steel framing, two types of metal decking, rigid roof insulation and standing seam steel roof. Interior walls will be either painted concrete masonry units or painted gypsum board on steel studs. The floor finish is either sealed concrete, monolithic poured epoxy, or carpet tiles. Finish ceilings will be either suspended acoustical ceiling tiles or exposed metal deck. Apparatus bay doors will be both four-fold high speed and coiling overhead doors. The HVAC is split system heat pump units. The apparatus bays have radiant gas heat. Plumbing is standard porcelain fixtures and institutional grade piping. Electrical is standard institution grade LED lighting and power distribution. The facility will have access control system, public address and speakers, MACH alerting and radio system. Civil site includes both concrete and asphalt pavements. Other civil work includes grading, stormwater treatment, landscaping and other associated work.
