SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SUBMISSION GUARANTEE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: In an amount equivalent to a percentage of the price of the tender and according to the form determined below: A bid bond issued by a surety [1] and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of the bids; Where A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price; Where An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by Surety 1 and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manager's Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee form in the amount of five percent (5%) of the price of the bid. Only contractors with a business office in Quebec, or in a province or territory covered by an applicable intergovernmental agreement, and holding the license required under the Building Act, are eligible to bid. A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the R gie du b timent du Qu bec or registered in the register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of inadmissibility also apply to the tenderer's subcontractors. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. If applicable, participants will be contacted by email no later than 24 hours before the visit to inform them of any changes. To access the facilities of the IUCPQ, all visitors must respect the health measures in force, in addition to complying with the following directives: Refrain from going to the hospital if they have symptoms of COVID-19; Refrain from going to the hospital if diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last ten days [2] ; Access the establishment from the main door of pavilion Y (2700, chemin des Quatre-Bourgeois). The security officer controlling this access will hold the list of participants in the visit and/or the opening of tenders and will give them access to the pavilion; Wear your face covering (or mask) on arrival and disinfect your hands on entry. If he wears a face covering, replace it with a procedure mask (available from the security officer) as soon as he enters. Wearing a mask must be maintained for the entire duration of his visit; Sign the symptom-free attestation register; Then go to room Y2237 , and follow the directions provided by the administrative agent. The IUCPQ asks bidders to provide a replacement if their representative cannot attend the information visit due to situations related to COVID-19. The Project Manager does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received.
