Renovation of a transportation facility in Parry Sound, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Contracting, on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) have a requirement for CCG Helicopter Base Hangar Roof Replacement at 28 Waubeek St, Parry Sound, Ontario. Work of this project comprises of a new inverted roof membrane assembly type system with a total area of approx 700 m2 will be installed after removing the existing one at the helicopter hangar building at CCG Helicopter Base in Parry Sound. The proposed work calls for: 1. Removal and disposal of existing roof assembly. 2. Disconnect mechanically and electrically the existing RTU and three exhaust fans. 3. Lift and remove the RTU from the existing curb. 4. Lift and remove the exhaust fans. 5. Install the new roofing system. 6. Reinstall the RTU back on the curb and seal the perimeter. 7. Reinstall the exhaust fans on the roof. 8. Re-connect mechanically and electrically the RTU and the 3 exhaust fans. 9. Test the RTU and the exhaust fans to be in good working order. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within six (6) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
