This specification details the technical requirements for the design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery of two Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Dewars for Brookhaven National Laboratory s Electron Ion Collider (EIC) located in Upton, NY, operated by Brookhaven National Laboratory. Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is a nuclear physics research facility partnering with Jefferson Lab (JLab) to support the EIC project as noted above. JLab is a nuclear physics research facility operated by Jefferson Science Associates, LLC, under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). JLab will manage this procurement and acts as the Procurement Officer (PO) and Technical Representative (TR). The Supplier shall meet all of the requirements of this specification. The remote operation of this system shall be through a BNL-provided interface to BNL s control system.
