Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Correctional Service Canada (CSC) needs a new principal entrance building, also known as a Gatehouse, at the Regional Psychiatric Centre (RPC). The new gatehouse may include the main communication control post; principal entrance control post; external control; security admin; emergency response team; armoury; a vehicular and pedestrian sally port; staff wellness centre; training rooms; dog handler area; key room; interview rooms; cafeteria and lockers. The project is required to be net-zero carbon and designed using sustainable design principals on LEED Gold requirements (Certification will not be pursued). TIMELINE: Request for proposals from architectural firms for prime consultants services has been cancelled by the owner. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time. *Estimated construction cost was $4.1 million.
