Sidewalk repair Buyer s Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required - Installation Required - Prevailing Wage Required - Certified Payroll Award Requirements - All or None Award Question Acceptance Deadline 03/14/2022 05:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes Solicitation Number RFP 2 of 2 • Excavate and dispose of concrete and parking meter poles (approximately 160’ long X 1’–6” wide) adjacent to library park, backfill, and landscape. • Excavate, remove, and dispose of the existing sidewalk ramp blocks, adjacent sidewalk blocks, and curbs & gutters as specified. • Install new sidewalk ramps, sidewalk blocks, curbs & gutters as specified as specified by the City of Jamestown Standard Specifications. • Sidewalk ramps shall be 6” thick. Sidewalk blocks shall be 4” thick. • Install ADA Certified Detectable Warning Plates per N.Y.S.D.O.T. Sidewalk Curb Ramps Details Standard Specification 608-01. • The Contractor shall use East Jordan (EJ) Cast Iron Truncated Dome Detectable Warning Plates or approved equal. • Repair any incidental damage to surrounding concrete, blacktop, and bricks as specified by the City of Jamestown Standard Specifications. • Backfill, topsoil, landscape, and seed all affected areas to provide an evenly graded and aesthetically pleasing finished lawn space as specified by the City of Jamestown Standard Specifications.
