TENDER PACKAGE 1 Chapel Sidewalk Replacement Project: Work under this contract includes partial removal of existing concrete curbs, sidewalks, unit pavers in driveway and Quad bench areas (2 locations) opposite East Chapel entrance (bench area pavers to be salvaged for re-installation), buried rainwater leaders (West side Owens Gallery), concrete monument foundation (South side of East Chapel entrance stair), granite stair treads (deliver to King Street storage compound), bollards (remove and store for re-installation), planting material and supply and installation of new concrete sidewalks, ramp, asphalt paving, storm lines and catch basis including two underground rain water leaders connected to new catch basin, supply and installation of new underground electrical conduits and sod reinstatement of disturbed areas, and planting bed as indicated on the drawings. TENDER PACKAGE 2 - McCain Student Centre Retaining Wall Project: Work under this contract includes partial remove of existing reinforced concrete retaining wall, footing drains, asphalt pavement and chain link fence and installation of new segmental retaining wall, drainage piping, fill materials, asphalt pavement reinstatement, chain link fencing and sod reinstatement. TENDER PACKAGE 3 - Harper Hall Access Road Project: Work under this contract includes cutting and fill related to construction of new access road including granular fill, asphalt pavement, siltation fence and hydroseeding of all disturbed areas. The University requires that Pre-Qualification Documents for all Contractors be submitted directly to Mount Allison prior to bid award. Please note that ALL sub-contractors will be required to qualify prior to starting any work for General Contractor. The University uses its pre-qualification process to assess a firm s experience, ability and capacity to perform the projects of the scope advertised. The University cautions bidders that an award will not be issued to a bidder that has not submitted pre-qualification documents, or, issue an award to a bidder whose pre-qualification documents cause doubt related to the bidder s ability and capacity to perform the scope of work being tendered.
