This state-of-the-art training site serves the varsity golf teams. Kent State University has consolidated their land holdings around the training facility which has necessitated providing a new maintenance facility to serve the Golf Training and Learning Center. Conceived as a pole barn structure, this new building will house lawn maintenance equipment and supplies as well as a maintenance shop work area. It will be a heated structure and will require the extension of electrical service and plumbing utilities. The building will be located adjacent to the Golf Training and Learning Center which is about 3 miles east of the Kent campus. The Program of Requirements ( POR ) will be developed as a part of this project by the Kent State University Office of the University Architect acting as Criteria Architect/Engineer ( Criteria A/E ). All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority and/or Owner's policies and procedures.
