Site work for a water / sewer project in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project involves construction of the following: renovation of existing 1975 secondary clarifiers into a secondary flow equalization basin; in plant chlorine effluent pump station upgrades and modifications; rehabilitation of the 1975 aeration basin and all other work as shown on the Drawings and Specifications. The Work under this Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services required for the R1-Expansion Filters and Equalization. These a summary of these modifications include the following elements: Modifying existing 1975 Secondary Clarifier to create new equalization tanks. Modifying existing 1975 Aeration Basin to create an emergency overflow structure. Installation of a new air gap tank and pump package system in the Solids Building Electrical and Control Room (Additive Alternative 3). Modifications to the Conventional Aeration Basin (CAB) with the installation of new Chlorine Effluent Filter Pumps. Modifications to Facilities 25 and 30, (Additive Alternatives 1 and 2). Work as described for additive alternatives 3 and 4. Demolishing internal and ancillary components of existing sand filter Cells 5-8. (Additive Alternative 5) Replacing cloth media on existing filters with client furnished material. (Additive Alternative 5). Miscellaneous Work throughout the plant.
