City of Berwyn Page 2 of 12 Emergencies Services Expansion Study Request for Statement of Qualifications and Performance Data (SQPD) Project Summary: The City of Berwyn is seeking Statements of Qualifications and Performance Data (SQPD) from interested firms to provide professional Architectural Services in connection with the study of the expansion of the Emergency Services Facility located at 3310 Grove Ave., Berwyn, IL. The successful firm will assist and consult with staff through Phase 1 of the project including an Exterior and Interior Existing Conditions Report, Needs Assessment Analysis and Master Planning Study. If a renovation or reconstruction project is approved from the Phase 1 Study, the awarded firm may be asked to provide Phase 2 services including, but not limited to, design, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. The selected firm shall be able to provide basic architectural, engineering and construction administration services including, but not limited to, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical engineering and interior design as appropriate for the project. The consultant shall prove to have strong leadership skills, the ability to expedite the project schedule, conduct project meetings and keep detailed records of the entire process. The City is seeking to retain a firm who has direct experience with the study, design, and construction of Emergency Service Facilities. Finally, the chosen firm shall demonstrate the ability to successfully manage and complete similar projects as the one proposed in this SQPD.
