The City of Calera reserves the right to issue new instructions or corrections as needed. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days following the date specified for opening of the bids. The city of Calera reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bid process and to accept the bid, which in the judgment of the city, will be in the best interest of or be most advantageous to the city of Calera. Proposed SCADA control system must be Cellular SCADA units that fully comply, communicate, and operate with existing SCADA System software's (Citect and FactoryTalk) equipment currently operating at the treatment plant, until migration to new SCADA System upgrade is complete. (4) Tank locations shall have new tank level transducer and relocating it to the valve vault on the tank property. (2) tanks shall utilize existing Sierra Wireless cellular dual Ethernet router with external cellular antenna and equipment. WaterMACS SCADA System software Is preferred. All pricing shall include new SCADA units for each location, installation of all SCADA equipment, all trenching, conduit, wiring , all required cellular antennas, mountings, cabling , the first year of cellular service, termination of all SCADA signals at the RTU, startup, integration into the existing SCADA System, establishing accurate polling and data exchange with system monitoring , control of sites and processes ,all programming for the SCADA units, and onsite training as requested by the Owner.
