Site work for a water / sewer project in Belchertown, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Contract Time is 270 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. This project is subject to a consent order issued by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The well must be operational prior to October 2, 2022. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to the complete the DCR Quabbin Administration Building Water Supply as indicated. The Work includes the following major items of work as indicated and specified: 1. Furnishing and installing a 20 gallon per minute (gpm) submersible well pump with pitless adapter and approximately 1,800 feet of 2-inch HDPE pipe connecting to the existing QAB water supply line. 2. Furnishing and installing power, control and signal wiring from the QAB area to a weatherproof "traffic box" adjacent to the well. 3. Connection for portable standby generator. 4. Protection and support of utilities in the project area. 5. Installation of a chain link fence, concrete equipment pad and roof structure for the Pump Control Panel. 6. Installation of erosion and sediment control measures. Removal of same after the site has been restored. 7. Furnishing operations and maintenance manuals for all installed equipment. 8. Provide training session for DCR and Authority personnel 9. Disconnection of the existing well located in the hanger from the water system. 10. Disconnecting and caping well pipes at well discharge. 11. Restoration of disturbed areas including paving and loam and seed
