Bend County.For further information please contact David Hudson Canal Manager at (281) 932- 1047 or dhudson@gcwatx.gov .The deadline to ask questions is 3/22/2022 12:00 AM CDT The Gulf Coast Water Authority (GCWA) is requesting Sealed Bids for the application of approved Aquatic Herbicides as well as approved Aquatic Surfactants as needed (approved for potable water and irrigation with no withdrawal) for controlling nuisance aquatic vegetation on, in, or around Jones and Oyster creeks, including Cleveland Lake, from the Shannon Pump Station, located on Bois D Arc Lane, Richmond, Texas to the 2nd Lift Pump Station, located at Dulles Ave. and Ave. E. in Sugar Land, Texas. Target species will be Alligator weed, Smartweed, Primrose, Water Hyacinth, and Water Lettuce. Bidders must give full firm name and address. Failure to manually sign bid will disqualify the bid. Signing this quote confirms Title or Authority to bind this Firm in Contract. GCWA is exempt from taxes Do Not Include Tax in Quote. Bidders must submit proof of insurance as outlined in the attached GCWA Insurance Requirement Document. Bidder must also submit proof of similar experience in aquatic vegetation control with a list of references with contact numbers with their proposal. Bidder must submit documentation of areas treated by use of some type of GPS tracking equipment. Spray reports must be submitted indicating date of application, temperature, wind speed and direction, herbicide used and rate it was applied. GCWA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, and to accept only those proposals that are in the best interest of the Authority.
