Saving Project...

Demolition, site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Jekyll Island, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a 2,400-square-foot, two-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

Per addendum 2 bid date extended to 5/8/23 Jekyll Island State Park Authority is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a new turnkey commercial grade Airport Terminal Building (approximately 2,500 square feet) at Jekyll Island Airport (JIA) as outlined in the Programming Drawings and Requirements Document. The facility is programmed to include two stories, and the architecture shall be designed to match the existing architectural features located on Jekyll Island. The new facility design shall maintain the current footprint size of the existing terminal building. The work and materials shall meet or exceed applicable State and Local construction codes and ordinance. The Jekyll Island Airport is located at 500 Riverview Dr, Jekyll Island, GA 31527. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment and services necessary to design and construct the Jekyll Island Airport Terminal Building outlined in this RFP. Items to be selfperformed by JIA and excluded from the RFP include building demolition, site utilities, temporary operations trailer, parking and pavement improvements and furnishings, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) items.
