Renovation of a multi-residential development in Canton, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of April 26, 2022, bids were not accepted due to pricing. This project will be re-bid eventually but a schedule has not been set. Proposals received after that time will not be accepted. Single, lump-sum bids are required in accordance with plans and specifications. Sealed bids shall be accompanied by a completed Section 00480 Non- Collusive Bidding Affidavit and completed HUD Form 5369-A Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders . Bid envelopes should be marked with the Bidder s Name and Law Lane Alterations 2022 Bid Enclosed Do Not Open. Electronic copies will be provided to all bidders at no cost by the Architect. Davis-Bacon Act Federal Wage Rates (40 U.S.C. 276a to a-7) and as supplemented by Department of Labor Relations (29 CFR par 5 Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Governing Federally Financed and Assisted Construction ) and Certified Payroll apply. All bids must be written in ink on the forms provided. Bid Bonds and Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond shall be obtained from Surety Companies with a Best Rating of A (excellent or better) and holding certificates of authority in compliance with 31 CFR part 223 Surety Companies Doing Business with the United States. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Canton Housing Authority (CHA) follows all rules and regulations set forth by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The CHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and encourages Women and Minority Owned Businesses and Section 3 enterprises to submit proposals.
