The Project is located at the following sites:1. Construction of the new Lucas Creek Pump Station is located at 748 Old Lucas Creek Road,Newport News, VA 23602. 2. Demolition of the existing Lucas Creek Pump Station is located at 750 Old Lucas Creek Road, Newport News, VA 23602. The Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: 1. Construction of a wastewater collection pump station including the furnishing and installation of all electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and other equipment and systems necessary for a completely functional facility. 2. Site grading, landscaping, erosion and sediment control. 3. Construction of gravity sewer and force main piping to redirect flow from the existing pump station property to the new property. 4. Temporary line stops, flow diversions and traffic control. 5. Demolition and abandonment of existing infrastructure made redundant by the new facility. 6. Other associated Work to accomplish this project. The Project or Work consists of constructing a new Lucas Creek Pump Station on vacant property to replace the adjacent existing Lucas Creek Pump Station. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, building construction, installation of process piping, pumping equipment, odor control equipment, crane equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation systems, control systems, and associated trade work. In addition, line stop flow diversions are required to make final connections into the existing interceptor system and traffic control is needed for work in the right-of-way.
