The Contract Documents provide for the construction of 9630 Timberline Road Improvements STU M455-125 (21966). The Work includes widen Timberline Road from two lanes to four lanes from Zephyr Road to Stetson Creek Road. Work includes: asphalt and concrete removals, earthwork, erosion control, structural concrete, curb, sidewalks, asphalt pavement, pedestrian railings, medians, landscaping, traffic signals, traffic striping, construction surveying, and construction traffic control. The Work will be completed in the Summer of 2022. This project is a Federally funded project. This project will require close coordination with a separately bid Timberline underpass and Mail Creek box culvert replacement project that is currently being installed by Mountain Constructors as a separate City of Fort Collins Engineering Dept. project (scheduled to be completed in early summer 2022). Construction phasing will maintain 2 way traffic on Timberline at all times. Phasing requirements will require the contractor to build out the corridor as a 2 phase project maintaining single lane, two way traffic on the east or west half of Timberline at all times. Work will also be coordinated with the box culverts project to corollate corridor phasing with final completion of the box culverts construction.
