Remodeling of a conference / convention center in Ogden, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a conference / convention center.
As of August 29,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Weber County (Owner) and it's hired design professional, VCBO Architecture (VCBO) are interested in working with a qualified Construction Management/General Contractor Firm ("Proposer") and requests proposals for construction management services, for the pre-construction phase, and general contractor services, for the construction phase, of an extensive interior remodel of The Ogden Eccles Conference Center (OECC), located in Ogden, Utah ("Project"). More specifically, it is envisioned that the Project will involve modernizing the OECC for the future with new/updated wall and floor treatments, technology, A/V, lighting, furniture, fixtures (capable of bringing a hospitality feel to welcoming flexible spaces), and priority improvements to "back of house" areas. Overall, the County is seeking a talented, innovative, and accomplished team that can assist the County in carrying out the above described Project.
