The project is located on Indian Mound Road between Lynn Road and Bates Road. A brief description of the Bid work for the above contract includes: Major work items and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: 10,200 square yards of pulverize and relay, 700 tons of 3/4" base aggregate, 550 tons of 1 1/4" base aggregate, and 3,950 tons of HMA pavement. As a part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a full and complete list of: 1) all of the proposed Subcontractors, and 2) the class of work which each will perform. The selected Contractor shall not alter this list without the written consent of the Town. Bidders shall submit Bids in a sealed envelope, addressed to Town Clerk, Town of Sherman, Wisconsin. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as "Indian Mound Road" and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his/her address, and his/her license number if applicable. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to Town Clerk, Town of Sherman, PO Box 88, Adell, WI 53001. All bids shall be submitted on the bidding forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bidders should pay attention to the requirements for Bid signatures, as set forth in Bid Security. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids within the 30-day period after the date of the Bid Opening. If the Town accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award by the Town. Electronic and paper copies will be available Thursday, March 3, 2022. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
