Six (6) cycles of right-of-way mowing and litter pickup on approximately 258 miles of County roadways with the option to add or remove cycles as final budget dictates, which includes furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment for mowing complete including brush/slope trimming. Each bid must be submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as, FY2022 Mowing and Litter Removal on Various Roads Throughout the County, Solicitation No: 22-018. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. Bidder will provide a list of sub-contractors that will be used in conjunction with this project. Bidder must perform 70% or more of the project, without the use of subcontractors. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities and readvertise. The owner may award the contract as a whole or in parts to one or more successful bidders.
