Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Douglasville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Project Description: The City of Douglasville, Georgia will be receiving separate sealed proposals for all material, labor, and equipment for the "Jessie Davis Park Improvements". This includes but not limited to the following: approximately 14 acres of disturbed area, demolition of existing features, new improvements including parking lot, concrete walkway, chain link fencing, picnic pavilion & restroom, walking trails, playground, landscaping, activity field rehab/lighting, new pool. Additionally, a new +/-21,000 sf Gymnasium, +/-2,900 sf Senior Center, +/-8,000 sf Community Center, and +/-2,000 sf Pool Building with all related accessories as shown on the plans and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Proposals shall be based on Unit Price Items. The project shall be Substantially Complete within 550 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed of the contract.
