The Douglas County Board of Commissioners are accepting sealed bids for Gravel Materials for Douglas County, Georgia, projects. Bids for this material will remain firm for the term, with options to renew for additional one-year terms. The initial term of award resulting from this solicitation will be May 16, 2022 to April 30, 2023. All questions regarding this bid shall be in writing via email to dcpurchasing@douglascountyga.gov. No questions shall be received after 3:00 p.m. ET, Friday, April 22, 2022. Responses will be provided by 5:00 p.m. ET, Tuesday, April 26, 2022. No other County staff or officials associated with this project should be contacted regarding this bid. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Board of Commissioners of Douglas County in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Bid for the complete work. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract amount will be required upon award of the contract. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by required bonds and insurance documentation. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities and technicalities.
