The project will consist of one (1) Base Bid with 10 individual Add Alternate Bids to be potentially added into the overall contract: Base Bid Roadway Maintenance - "Funded with Liquid Fuels Monies only", work will consist of the Contractor Milling (3" Depth) approximately 24,845 s.y., installing approximately 2,800 tons of 19 mm Binder Course (PG 64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 million ESAL's SRL-M), 24,845 s.y. of 1- 1/2 " Wearing Course (9.5 mm, PG 64-22, 0.0 to 0.3 million ESAL's SRL-M), 500 s.y. Base Soft Spot Repair, 14,130 l.f. Wedge Curb, associated line painting, keyways and traffic control measures. Alternate Bid: ESAL increase (PG 64-22, 3.0 to 10.0 million ESAL's SRL-M) for both 19 mm Binder Course and 9.5 mm Wearing Course. 10 - Additional Alternates for bid consideration are included within the Bid Documents and Proposal. The Add Alternates include the following work, Parking Lot Milling & Resurfacing, New Parking Lot Construction and Basketball/Pickleball Court Resurfacing. Based upon budget limitations, the Owner may or may not choose to incorporate the Alternate material options for increased Esal's and Add Alternates within the Base Bid purely at their discretion. If the Owner elects to include any or all Alternate options they will be incorporated in the project, funded with General Funds. The Owner's decision to include or exclude the Alternates options shall not invalidate the Contract. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of North Strabane Township. North Strabane Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening.
