Bidder Qualifications Bidder shall have been a regular dealer in the product offered for a period of not less than two (2) years from date of issuance of this bid. Intent It is the intent of this bid to establish a contract(s) for the supply and delivery of various Plant Operations Equipment to Carroll County Board of Education, also known as Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS), Plant Operations Warehouse, for the contract period pending availability of funds. Background Carroll County Public Schools has 40 schools and a total enrollment of approximately 25,000 students. By category, CCPS has seven (7) high schools; eight (8) middle schools; twenty-two (22) elementary schools; and three (3) alternative education schools. Delivery Deliveries will be made to the Carroll County Public Schools, Kessler Building, 191 Schaffer Ave., Westminster, MD 21157. Delivery location is subject to change with 30-day notice to all vendors. All deliveries must be arranged with CCPS Plant Operations, with a minimum notice of 48 hours. Their phone number is 410-751-3470. All items must be delivered inside between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., excluding school holidays. Delivery must be complete within thirty (30) days after receipt of order. The vendor will be required to furnish proof of delivery in every instance as required. Successful vendors will receive purchase orders for each requirement from Plant Operations during the contract period. Purchase orders will be issued on a periodic basis throughout the contract period to support CCPS' "Just In Time" delivery requirements.
