Replacement of the existing embed angle at the filters with new non-corrosive angle while reusing the existing grating and repairing the damaged concrete at the angle. Replacement of 2 approximately 50LF runs of the existing corroded 6" wide trench grating and embed angle with new 6" wide non-corrosive angle and grating and repairing the damaged concrete at the angle. Replacement of the existing embed angle and grating in the lime feed room with new non-corrosive angle and grating. The City serves an area of 24.83 square miles with a population of approximately 23,319. The City's fiscal year begins on October 1st and ends on September 30th. A walk through of the job site will be conducted immediately following the pre-proposal meeting. This will be the only walk thru of the work site provided. Please plan accordingly. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend in person, as, unless requested by the department, this will be the only pre-bid conference for this solicitation.
