The Project consists of constructing the following: Division "A" - Sanitary System Regionalization This project includes but is not limited to the regionalization of McCormick's Creek State Park's wastewater system by discharging all wastewater into the neighboring Town of Spencer's wastewater system. The work includes construction of two (2) new wastewater lift stations, upgrades and replacements to two (2) existing lift stations, three (3) new grinder stations, a half-mile of new gravity sewer, approximately one (1) mile of new force main, approximately 1/3 mile of low pressure sewer, conversion of an aeration tank to an equalization basin, abandonment of the remainder of the Park's WWTP, abandonment of one (1) existing lift station, an INDOT highway crossing, installation of a flow meter and sampling station, site improvements, electrical work, erosion control, maintenance of traffic, bypass pumping, dewatering, pavement repairs, and all other work required for the complete regionalization project. Division "B" - Sanitary System Rehabilitation This project includes but is not limited to the rehabilitation of the gravity sewer and manholes within McCormick's Creek State Park for the purpose of extending the useful life of the wastewater system. The work includes various rehabilitation items for approximately 90 manholes, cleaning and televising approximately 14,000 LF of 8-inch and 10-inch gravity sewer, cured-in-place-pipe lining of same 8-inch and 10-inch gravity sewer, approximately 3/4 mile of sewer lateral replacements, erosion control, maintenance of traffic, bypass pumping, pavement repairs, and all other work required for the complete rehabilitation project. Separate Bids will be received for Division "A" - Sanitary System Regionalization and Division "B" - Sanitary System Rehabilitation Bids shall be as shown in the Bid Form. All addenda, which may be issued for this Project, will only be issued to each plan holder via email. For those whom also purchase printed Contract Documents, printed addenda will be provided as well. All plan holders shall note, the printed documents are provided as a courtesy and do not preclude the plan holder from relying upon the web/email based materials (i.e. delays in mail delivery will not be considered relevant due to all contract document holders access to materials via web/email). No refunds will be issued for this project. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. NO bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
