Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Bluford, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project consists of the construction of 6700 sf of concrete recreation slab, 1760 sf of sidewalk, ramps and two sets of concrete steps and a 24" CMP culvert. Bids will be received for a prime Contractor on a lump sum basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The Contractor and Sub-Contractors shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as found by the Dept. of Labor or as determined by the Court of Appeal, to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Also, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
