The County of Chambers County, Texas plans to apply for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funding from the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and is soliciting RFQ's to provide engineering/architectural/surveying services for HMGP contract(s), if awarded. Statement of Qualifications must be received by the County no later than 3:00 P.M. on March 15, 2022 to be considered. Please submit three hard copies and one digital copy of your proposal and a statement of qualifications for the proposed services to the address below. Sealed responses are to be submitted in person or delivered via USPS, UPS, or FedEx to Attn: George Barrera, Purchasing Agent, 2122 SH 61 (FOC Bldg.)/ P.O. Box 1380, Anahuac TX 77514. NO EMAILED RFQ's will be accepted. All RFQ's must be marked on the outside of the envelope "Hazard Mitigation Engineering/Architectural/Surveying" along with bidders name and return address. Statement of Qualifications received after the deadline will NOT be accepted, and must have a notarized non-collusion affidavit or will not be accepted. The county reserves the right to negotiate with any/all individuals or firms that submit proposals, and may award one or more contracts to one or more service provider(s). Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
