CR Number: 2084413 The project consists of the full depth reconstruction of an approximate 1,100 foot long by 75 foot wide section of Parallel Taxiway A. Site work included in this project consists of maintenance and protection of traffic, excavation and removal of the existing pavement section (approximately 5,900 cubic yards), P-209 crushed aggregate base course installation (approximately 6,600 cubic yards), P-401 pavement installation (approximately 5,700 tons), pavement markings, and stormwater improvements. Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total base bid in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or Bid Bond. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. If an awarded bidder fails to enter into a contract with the County following notice of bid acceptance, the bid security shall be forfeited to and become the property of Chemung County.
