Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Horseheads, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Drywall Install at our Big Flats IRA. This is a NYS public works project and prevailing wages must be paid. Contract term: 30 days after completion of project Location: Big Flats IRA - 419 Sing Sing Rd., Big Flats, NY 14845 (Drywall Replacement). The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed with in 30 days of award, u n less modified below. Th is is a NYS Pu blicWorks project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the follow!ng scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (Drywall Replacement), before removal of equipmentand scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Insulate ceiling and exterior walls as needed and re-drywall all the walls and ceiling with high impact drywall 2. Tape and mud all seams, 3. Prime and paint entire room to color (selected by House Manager) 4. Re-trim windowsand doors with matching case molding. 5. Install 4-inch cove base along the perimeter of entire room (color selected by House Manager
