Demolition, site work and new construction of a swimming pool in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 7,200-square-foot swimming pool; for the construction of a 10,400-square-foot swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
The project scope includes the improvements to the existing recreation center area of the park. The following is a general list of the improvements: 1. Demolition of existing 7,200 square-foot (60'x120') swimming pool and surrounding pool deck. 2. Construction of: a. New 9,000 square-foot (75'x120') swimming pool. b. New 3,100 square-foot splash pad. c. New 1,400 square-foot pool equipment pump house. d. New ADA pathway. e. New landscaping & irrigation around the new pool and existing bathhouse. 3. Renovation of an existing bathhouse which includes ADA restroom, changing rooms, showers, and lifeguard office. Bidders are strongly encouraged to also visit the project location on their own THE ANTICIPATED LEVEL FOR MBE is 18%, WBE is 4%, SBE is 25%, EBE is 8% and DVBE is 3%.
