Furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to: (1) Make improvements to 1.4 miles of primitive road in Ano Nuevo State Park at #1 New Years Creek Road, Ano Nuevo (SB), Pescadero, CA 94060, and (2) repair, patchwork, cut and fill, and overlay the Entry Road for the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, at Aptos Creek Road/Soquel Drive, Aptos, CA 95003, complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore and such addenda thereto as may be issued prior to bid opening date. The contractor agrees to complete all the work within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of written notice to commence work. This includes the ten (10) calendar days allowed for the Contractor to begin work. The contract term for this agreement is April 15, 2022 (or upon DPR approval whichever is later) through April 15, 2023. A Letter of Bondability on Surety Company letterhead stating the Contractor/Bidder has the bonding capacity available for this project is required. This letter must be included with bid submission. When contract is awarded, the Contractor will be required to submit Payment and Performance bonds to DPR within ten (10) calendar days. Bids Exceeding $250,000 shall have enclosed cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond, executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California in an amount equal to at least 10% of amount of bid.
