SEPTA will conduct an industry review to gain market insight with the goal of finalizing specifications for the 30th to K Overhead Contact System (OCS) and Structures Replacement Project. The project will involve the design of the OCS over all of the Main Line and yard tracks and the replacement of all structures so that the Main Line OCS can be separated from yard OCS and SEPTA’s OCS can be separated from Amtrak’s OCS. In assembling the procurement documents for this project, SEPTA is seeking input from experienced contractors. This effort should allow SEPTA to create a solicitation document that is realistic, economical and maximizes competition. When the review is complete, it is SEPTA’s intent to finalize the specification, issue the solicitation and process an award for the construction of this project. In participating in this ROI, the contractor is unconditionally agreeing to the following; (i) SEPTA will be authorized to use any information submitted, referenced, or presented during this EOI including within the final specification; (ii) SEPTA shall be authorized to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works from any information received during this EOI; and (iii) SEPTA shall not be obligated to engage or otherwise compensate contractors in any manner or for any reason for SEPTA’s use of any information and / or material submitted by during this EOI, or information contained therein, or any other right granted hereunder.
