The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid filed in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond and 100% payment bond. Each bidder must be licensed as a contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975 and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
