Reference Number 00002954599 The objective of the RFB is for consulting services of the closed Inter-Recycling for expert technical analysis of groundwater, surface water and leachate monitoring data as well as landfill geotechnical data to provide conclusions and recommendations related to future site operations and for non-consulting services including inspections, monitoring, maintenance and reporting services of the closed Inter-Recycling Inc. landfill for two years with options to extend the contract for a period of one year, three times. Scope of Work The Ministry requires field services for a closed landfill that is a bankrupt entity. The ministry has used Financial Assurance funds to close the landfill in 2012 and for ongoing monitoring and maintenance since the closure. The ministry is also conducting a RFB for consulting services for data analysis and to provide conclusions and recommendations for the ministry to make decisions on the future activities and monitoring of the closed landfill for the reminder of the contaminating lifespan (2036) of the closed landfill. The term of the work will be up to one year for consulting services and up to five years for the ongoing monitoring and maintenance services. The site is located in the City of Sarnia. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
