Site work for a religious / funeral development in Romulus, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.

CR Number: 2084455 Seneca County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery: Columbarium Project A. The work shall be done under one Contract including: 1. General Construction / Site Work (Demolition, Improvements, and Restoration Site Work) B. The Contractor is to furnish all labor and materials for the satisfactory completion of all work whether shown or implied in the Construction Documents. C. All debris shall be removed daily from the building under construction, and the area shall be broom cleaned. E. The Prime Contractor shall provide all necessary measures to protect health, welfare, and safety of the general public, to prevent accidents, to avoid unnecessary hazards and to protect the property to which the work under this contract pertains at all times during the duration of the contract period. F. 1. General Construction Work (as defined in the Construction Documents) a. Site Work (Demolition, Utilities, Improvements, Restoration & Cleaning) A. The General Contractor shall provide all temporary, partitions, lifts, scaffolding, barricades, construction stairs, construction office, storage shed for tools and equipment, outdoor toilet facilities and any other provisions necessary for the safe and expeditious process of the work. B. The Contractor shall provide all necessary temporary utilities to complete the work at no additional cost to the Owner. 1. The General Contractor has the responsibility for providing temporary light and power to the site, suitable for supplying electrical energy for illumination and for operation of electrical equipment. 2. Temporary light and power must be completely installed and operating at the earliest possible date, by the General Contractor. 3. The General Contractor shall pay all costs therefore, including costs, fees, permits, etc., for electricity used during construction. C. The General Contractor shall observe the following specific requirements: 1. Bulk storage of gasoline, fuel oil paints and solvents should be kept outside the building. 2. Temporary heating devices and fuel storage shall be approved by the Architect and the Owner in writing prior to its use. Temporary heat shall be provided for this project and shall be at no additional cost to the Owner. 3. Portable fire extinguishers shall be readily available at the site. 4. No on-site burning shall be permitted. 5. Noise, odor and fumes shall be strictly controlled at all times. The Architect and Owner shall be notified at least four days in advance of any work which may involve harmful fumes or excessive odor or noise. D. Sanitary Regulations: 1. The Contractor shall prohibit and prevent the committing of a nuisance on the site of the work or adjoining property and shall discharge any employee who violates this rule. Toilet facilities shall be maintained in strict accordance with the law. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining the toilet facilities in a clean and sanitary manner. E. Plumbing and Bailing: 1. From the commencement to the completion of the building operations, the Contractor shall keep all parts of the site and surrounding buildings free from accumulation of water, no matter what the source or cause of water, and to this end, shall supply, maintain, and operate all plumbing and bailing equipment such as, containers, hose, piping, strainers, fuel, power, etc. F. Appearance of Job Site: 1. Responsibility of removing all rubbish and debris including that left by all trades shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor as part of the Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for general appearance and clearing off of the site. The Contractor shall provide adequate receptacles in all locations and shall make daily disposal of all rubbish and discarded materials. H. The Contractors shall maintain grounds around the building as found. Damage to the site caused by vehicular traffic or other shall be repaired by the Contractor at no expense to the Owner. The Seneca County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids or any and all items on bid.
