General Description of the District Tollgate Crossing Metropolitan District No. 2 (the District) is a quasi-governmental corporation and political subdivision of the State of Colorado located within the city of Aurora, Colorado.The District is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance of common areas, public rights of way, entrance monuments, and a park. The District currently has installed an outdated evapotranspiration scheduling (ET) smart irrigation controller water system manufactured by ETwater. The District desires to replace and retrofit the existing smart controller irrigation system to a more modern and updated system that provides additional functionality and improved water savings. The system to be retrofit consists of 6 irrigation taps/backflows as follows: Tap 1: 4 controllers, with the following number of valve stations per controller: 72, 12, 18, 48 Tap 2: 3 controllers with 24, 36, and 18 valve stations per controller Tap 3: 1 controller, 72 stations Tap 4: 1 controller, 36 stations (Taps 3 and 4 are connected to form a loop system) Tap 5: 2 controllers, 72 and 18 stations Tap 5: 3 controllers, 30, 18 and 24 stations. Flow sensing is currently not available to the District but is desired for the retrofit project. The District contracts with ColoradoScapes, Inc. (ColoradoScapes) to provide landscaping services to the District. The successful bidder is expected to work closely with ColoradoScapes to insure success of this project.
