Site work for a water / sewer project in Athens, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of March 29, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by the end of April or beginning of May.** The Project includes the following Work: Installation of 3,835 ft. of water line along US 11/State Rt 2 from Dennis St. to Rocky Mount Rd. in Athens, TN. Line replaces existing 6" water line to be retired in place. Work includes 3,670 ft. of 8" D.I.P., 135 ft. of 6" D.I.P., 35 ft. of 6" PVC, 16" bore and jack, asphalt paving, testing, disinfection, and the reconnection of existing services, fire lines, and hydrants. The Project has an expected duration of 240 days. No pre-bid conference will be held.For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, a 5% Bid Bond, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
