Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Abilene, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a stadium.
SEDALCO is the CMAR for the new Press Box at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene ISD. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing press box along with several existing sports lighting poles. The new multi-story Press Box includes approximate 11,000 SF of enclosed space with 2 stair towers, concessions, suites plus a large plaza level for viewing. The site work is minor and includes new ornamental fencing, masonry columns and the re-work of the existing utilities. This project will include the tie-in to the new Scoreboard sports lighting that is currently being installed under a separate contract. There is no track surfacing and/or field turf required in this scope of work. Please refer the the construction schedule that will be added via Addendum 1, but has already been posted under the specs folder. Should any trade contractor see an issue with lead times on their materials and our construction schedule please let us know immediately. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 7-26-2022.
