Renovation of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Replace existing Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with two (2) ATS (life safety & critical). Add new critical panels and relocate all critical circuits from existing emergency panel (which will be renamed life safety). Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, listed in the latest published State of California, Department of Insurance, list of Insurers Admitted to Transact Surety Insurance in This State. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: Electrical Contractor, C-10. Estimated project duration is 315 calendar days. UC San Diego encourages the participation of Small, Disadvantaged, Minority-owned, Women-owned and Service/Disabled Veteran-owned Business Enterprises (S/D/M/W/DVBE's) and is committed to promote a diverse pool of firms for our building programs. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.
