The City of St. Joseph has issued a Request for Proposals (separate from this RFP) to consider private/contract management for either or both the 4,000-seat sports and entertainment venue known as the St. Joseph Civic Arena and the 1,100+-seat historic Missouri Theater (via a single management agreement). The successful firm will oversee all aspects of each venue including operations, concessions, scheduling, ticketing, food and beverage, technology, security, parking, traffic, maintenance, and marketing. All questions shall be submitted in writing or by email no later than March 15, 2022, to: Chuck Kempf Director of Parks, Recreation, & Civic Facilities City of St. Joseph 1920 Grand Avenue St. Joseph, MO 64505 ckempf@stjoemo.org Consultant Bidder proposers, legal counsel, or anyone affiliated with the proposer are prohibited from communicating or lobbying in any other manner about this project with any other city employee, elected official, or evaluation team member from the date of issuance of this request for proposal until the final selection unless authorized by the Director of Parks, Recreation, & Civic Facilities. Other means of communications or contact may disqualify the Proposer. The City of St. Joseph reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City of St. Joseph is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
