The WRF Expansion, Ph. 2 project consists of the following: new mechanical screen and washing compactor; refurbishment of the existing grit removal system; new aluminum flow splitter structure; new 10 HP surge pump; modifications and refurbishment of the existing 0.60 MGD package wastewater treatment unit; installation of a new 0.60 MGD package wastewater treatment unit in a prestressed concrete tank; modifications to existing blower piping and new 150 HP centrifugal blowers; three new 50 HP digester blowers and associated air piping; two new cloth media filters; modifications to the existing chlorine contact chamber piping; removal and replacement of existing vertical turbine effluent transfer pumps with new 50 HP pumps; new 75 HP reuse high service pump; two new 20 HP in-plant reuse pumps; yard piping; sitework; electrical/instrumentation/SCADA, including new emergency generator; and associated restoration. All proposals must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked in the lower left corner Bid No. 2022- 0002 and delivered or mailed to: Nancy Wilson, Town Clerk, Town of Lady Lake, 409 Fennell Boulevard, Lady Lake, Florida 32159. Bids received after the specified submittal date and time, or improperly marked, will not be accepted. The Town of Lady Lake reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. Responses to this Bid upon receipt by the Town will become public record subject to provisions of Chapter 119 F.S., Florida Public Records Law. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. To be considered qualified, Bidder shall have successfully completed as prime contractor a minimum of two (2) projects of a similar nature involving water/wastewater treatment plants within the past five (5) years, each having a minimum contract value of $2,500,000.
