This contract provides for all labor, tools, appliances, materials, and equipment for dredging and land application of solids from the City owned industrial pretreatment lagoon. All work should be completed by October 31st, 2022 (and each additional contract year). The City intends to award this Contract for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for up to two (2) additional years based on land evaluation after the first years work. Subsequent work may be performed the next year and/or the following year. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities. (Section 4 of Chapter 56, Laws of 1975, 1st Ex. Sess., State of Washington).
