The State reserves the right to: o Require Responders to conduct presentations, demonstrations, or submit samples; o Award by item (including category, location, etc.), by groups of items, or all items, therefore, the Responder is encouraged to offer a response for all items; o Award by location; and o Interview key personnel or references. The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: Replace 2, 12" by 24' culverts. Construct a minor ditch at one location. Place, compact, and shape 400 cu. yds. of pit-run gravel and 1200 cu. yds. of MNDOT Class 5 gravel. Culverts and pit run are provided by the state. All class 5 gravel is provided by the contractor. On east end of the Wolf Lake Forest Road for a distance of approximately 1800', the road will be shaped and 4" of pit run material will be placed and compacted, followed by 4" of MN DOT Class 5 supplied by the contractor. On the west end of the Wolf Lake Forest road, 2 culverts (delivered on-site by the state) will be installed. For a distance of approximately 0.6 miles, the road will be shaped and 4" of MN DOT Class 5 will be placed and compacted. Total pit run will be 400 cubic yards, total Class 5 will be 1200 cubic yards
