Renovation of a water / sewer project in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
All labor, material, and supervision to affect repairs to the centrifuge; and supply parts as required to complete the repairs to the sludge dewatering centrifuge equipment. Submitted bids should be identified on the outside of the envelope as a bid for the "2022 CENT- RIFUGE REPAIRS" Bids submitted inperson will be at the Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District, 1100 E. University Avenue, Urbana, Illinois. Attention of the Bidders is directed tothe fact that the District isnot required to pay Federal Excise Tax or State Sales Tax. The Urbana &Champaign Sanitary District reserves the right to reject any orall bids and to waive any informalities inbidding. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without consent ofthe Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District for a period of sixty (60) days. The Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District Northeast Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), is located at 1100 East University Avenue, Urbana, IL 61802. This WWTP is where the centrifuges are located. The District has three (3) Alfa Laval Aldec 506 Decanter Style Centrifuges (Product 882034927-3) installed at the Wastewater Plant. The centrifuge that will be worked on is Centrifuge #2, S/N 5022178 with Gearbox # 0344G04
