Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Ferndale, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
New Line Skateparks will also provide an update on the work done so far, summarize the feedback already received and provide more opportunities for the public to shape the construction of the park. Metalworks Skate Park will be constructed in Pioneer Park in Ferndale, and will provide a fun space for people of all ages and abilities to ride, skate, rollerblade or scooter. Construction on Metalworks Skate Park is expected to begin in 2022. Scheduled for construction in 2022, Metalworks Skatepark will be the newest, rad, legit, fleek, savage, wicked, and sweet addition to Ferndales recreation facilities. The project is made possible through a grant provided by the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office and will build a 10,000 square foot skate park off Second Avenue near Phillips 66 Sports Complex, Pioneer Park, and Star Park. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
