Site work for a water / sewer project in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of May 2, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 21, 2022. The purpose of this project is to renew, or relocate, or repair water service lines; and adjust water meters; and replace or adjust water meter boxes in accordance with the definitions and specifications listed on the proposal form. Generally, water service renewals and relocations will be prioritized in batch quantity of work locations as mutually agreed between the Contractor and Project Coordinator. Water service repairs are considered high priority and locations are prioritized as needed. Regular daily work consists of water meter and meter box replacement or adjustment. In all cases, the contractor is expected to respond to emergencies during regular working hours. For technical questions regarding this project, please submit questions in writing to Bill Shookman at billjs@cityofws.org with responses posted by written addendum. End of Question Period is 5:00 PM, March 16, 2022. City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals established 10% goal for participation by minority/women owned businesses
